What the service is

PluginCanary reports public signals about WordPress plugins and scores them with published rules. It is information to help you decide, not a guarantee that a plugin is safe or unsafe. It is not a security scanner and does not check your site's files.

Data accuracy

Our data comes from public sources and can be late, incomplete or wrong. We fix errors when we find them or when they are reported. You remain responsible for the plugins you install and update.

Your account

Keep your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for the sites you add and for the people you invite to your workspace. One workspace can have several members with different roles.

Plans and billing

Prices and limits are listed on the pricing page. New accounts get a 14-day Agency trial with no card. Upgrades apply at once with a prorated charge, downgrades at the end of the billing period. After 3 failed payment retries over 14 days a workspace moves to the Free plan.

Fair use

Do not scrape the site at high volume, try to break the service, or use it to harass plugin authors. You may quote our data and charts with attribution to PluginCanary.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. Deleting a workspace removes its site data within 30 days.
